Class Representatives

At Balnarring Primary School, each class has their own Class Representative who has an important role liaising between the teacher and the parents, not as a substitute for personal communication but as an enhancement.

Their contribution is greatly valued as they provide support for the teacher when requested, encourage and co-ordinate Parent Helpers for classroom activities, excursions and camps, organise group social functions and help foster positive relationships within the parental group and their children. The Class Reps also play an important role in supporting the fund-raising activities planned throughout the year.

They get together with the Principal and the Assistant Principal at the end of each month in a relaxed and friendly meeting to share ideas and help with planning school activities.
